Would you like to Volunteer

Just like the majority of canal based events the Black Country Boating Festival relies entirely on volunteers to ensure its success.

We always need help over the festival weekend but are also looking for volunteers to help with the planning and pre-event activities.

If you can spare an hour or two during the the festival weekend or wish to take a more active role in the organisation of the event then we want to hear from you.

We are looking for people to help with event publicity and fund-raising and we are especially looking for a team to develop new social media solutions. If you would like practical experience running a web site or fancy yourself as a graphic designer we would like to hear from you.
