British Waterways Announce Overnight Closures on the Wolverhampton Level
7th April -
It’s All Systems Go for 2010
Despite concerns over water availability the 25th Black Country Boating Festival
will take place at the Bumble Hole Windmill End, Netherton September 10th -
The festival organisers are working closely with British Waterways to ensure that water levels are maintained for all canal users and that those boats wanting to attend the festival are able to do so.

Just like the majority of canal based events the Black Country Boating Festival relies entirely on volunteers to ensure its success.
We always need help over the festival weekend but are also looking for volunteers
to assist with the pre-
If you can spare an hour or two during the the festival weekend or wish to take a more active role in the
organisation of the event then we want to hear from you.

The next festival planning meeting will be at the held at 7:30pm on 22nd April at the offices of Stourbridge Navigation Trust ,Canal Street, Stourbridge, DY8 4LU.
